FLORIMULCH

It was only a matter of time ...

Whenever a product or service becomes successful in the marketplace, it doesn't take long for someone to come along with something similar. Usually it's brought to market at a price less than that of the original. Sometimes there is an improvement over the original, sometimes there is a marked loss of quality. Sometimes there is outright misrepresentation.

While we encourage honest competition in the Landscape Mulch industry, we feel that you who have specified FLORIMULCH in the past should know that there are now several products on the market today that we being represented as Melaleuca mulch, but in fact are nothing more than ground up trimmings, roots and debris. We have heard all kind of negative reports about these materials, including sprouting of Brazilian pepper. Quite naturally, the very real risk of using these materials is contamination of your site with weed and disease contagion.

We want you to know that FLORIMULCH is made the same way it's always been. Clean ... no contamination and no trash. In order that we distinguish our product from lesser and potentially noxious materials, we have sought and received the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, Division of Plant Industry, Borrowing Nematode certification for all our products. This certification assures you that FLORIMULCH is being manufactured under the strictest standards, and contains absolutely no foreign materials.

A copy of our "SUGGESTED SPECIFICATIONS FOR PROFESSIONALS follows for you to cut and paste into your word processor.  You'll note that it makes specific reference to Borrowing Nematode Certification. This will assure you, and your client, that you're getting only the highest quality materials.

A sincere THANK YOU for specifying and using FLORIMULCH. We promise to keep you happy with our products!
